For Ford Sync 2 System 8 inch LCD Screen

Fitted it today, took about 3 hrs. A few cables not required on my car but when finished everything is working. I'm glad I reached out to Road Top to check I had the right one as they told me I needed a different cable for my model of car. They kindly sent it in the post FOC. That did take about 10 days but that was fine as I did need that cable and would have been p'ed off if I'd got it all apart and had the wrong cable.

Followed the instructions and fitting was fairly straightforward. The difficult part is actually getting the dash screws out without them falling down inside ! . Integration the unit is seamless and the whole device functionality works as described.

Works perfectly and upgraded the car a lot. The only thing is unfortunately the next and previous track button the steering wheel don’t work but volume works fine!

When I received the package I didn't receive any instructions. I tried with whatever I could find on the Internet, but just a video of the pcb board wasn't quite enough. I did receive extra info after I emailed though. It's much less plug and play as it said on the website. I had to drill in the outside case of the original radio, because the wire from the pcb couldn't be led outside anywhere. Also the switches of the box where not in the right position so that's definitely something which should have been delivered in the package. After a few emails I got everything working. I definitely don't recommend it if you have no technical background (and a lot of guts). After installation everything works almost perfect. I had to change general audio settings in the box because the standard sound was extremely flat. Now it's great. One small annoyance though is if you play from Spotify and use the volume up button on the steering wheel, it sometimes (randomly) skips a song. I read about it in a Ford Focus forum too, so it seems a general problem.

All in all a cool and relatively cheap solution but a bit cumbersome experience with installation, mostly because of the lack of documentation. Support was good enough though, so that helped in fixing it.
