I HAVE INSTALLED THE PRODUCT .WORKS WELL AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PERFECT SO FAR
My only complaint is losing the cursor and having to go left and right to navigate.
What an upgrade to my 2016 lr4, plug and play, and don't forget to set original screen input to auxiliary. Love it, thank you!
This is an excellent device to allow the addition of Car Play/Android auto to a car without it. Easy to install and works great.
Love it. If there was a note at the beginning of the instructions stating the decoder acts as a middle man between the radio and HMI the install would have went more smooth and if the website listed my vehicle it would have been helpful. Aside from that I love everything about it!
Just what I was looking for in my 2015 ford edge. A little intimidating to mess with the electronics inside the screen but if you follow the video it is really strait forward. Make sure you flip all of the right switches on the box to adapt to your car so you don’t have to take the car apart like I did. If sound quality is important to you use the setting to use cars original Bluetooth connection because the audio from this thing is less than mid.
I just installed the Road Top car play in the Land Rover Disco Sport 2016 with Harman System. I found a good how to video on YouTube and it’s been working well for a week now. I wasn’t sure about the dip switch settings but I think I found a setting that works. Thanks, it’s definitely an upgrade.
Super easy to install, true plug and play. For NTG 4.7 (with fiber optic cable), the fiber cable has to be moved and voilá. Awesomely clear, super fast and smooth. It has worked from day one, following the connection instructions. Controls comand as you normally would and goes back and forth effortlessly.
I was a bit skeptical about upgrading my 2023 Mini S Hardtop but wanted to use Android Auto. After watching a couple of videos, it turned out to be a very easy process. Color coded connectors and connectors that only fit in one direction make it hard to make any mistakes. The Tech support I received was spot on. I can even upgrade the software on-line in the car now. I received the product in less than a week! I am so happy with this purchase and now I recommend RoadTop.Com to all of my friends. Only tip I think you may need is when plugging things in, I did not need the USB connector but plug it in the unit anyway and put the USB end of it behind the glovebox (Glovebox comes out with a few screws, wire on top and right side and pop-off panel on the right - Very Easy - less than 5 minutes after your first time to remove the glovebox because I had to upgrade the software and you need that USB to do the first upgrade unless you end up with a newer unit. I tucked the USB up out of the way after the software upgrade).
Display is well made and the software is easy to use, with carplay working smoothly and the bluetooth transmission function.
My son and I took about 2 hours for the install. We followed along on a YouTube video at Professors Garage. Very straight forward install even for a couple guys who didnt know what they were doing. She is extremely pleased with the new Infotainment look and just loves that she can now use Google maps for her travels. Overall extremely satisfied with the choice to use the RoadTop
I own a 2015 Audi a4 that’s in great condition except that its technology is rapidly becoming outdated. CarPlay was not yet available for my model but I really wanted the seamless integration it provides with my iphone. The module was exactly what I was looking for. Installation was tricky but I found some YouTube videos that walked me through the process. Everything works as advertised. My only minor complete is that the music volume using CarPlay is significantly lower than when I use the car’s built-in MMMI.

I installed my Roadtop in an Audi Q3, which was a challenge due to space behind the dash (do not rush the installation or returning putting dash back together). Instructions and cables etc that came with this were spot on, all connections only fit one way.
I had an issue after battery was replaced and emailed them for support, sent new firmware update, problem solved.
I also noticed a nuance with device that I asked if it could be resolved, again MCU update and it was resolved.
You need to allow for time zones when sending messages, generally 12hrs to allow for time differences. But they were supportive and accurate with all issues.
Good product, Good support, just wish there was a touch screen update for my model.

Upgraded my Saab 93 with this so it gives me CarPlay and streamed music to my in car head unit. For the price it is a really good piece of kit. Easy to install
This product works excellent and install is fairly straight forward with the video guides available online.
The addition of wireless Android Auto gives the MMI system a much needed upgrade. At the current price, this is a no brainer. Install is physically tricky (getting everything back in the space) but technical straight forward (all the plugs can only connect one way).
