I am very satisfied with the basic functions and the performance of the rear camera!
However, during installation, the power connector was quite large, which made the wiring a bit forced. If the wiring were a bit longer, I might have been able to hide it behind the glove box or other areas.
Very happy with the results.
I installed it my self, by following the video. Very affordable upgrade!
Great kit, just fitted to my 2014 Mercedes GL350 that I'd just bought. It had a pretty rubbish factory satnav that the maps hadn't been updated since 2014.. I've fitted other android auto units before, but not with a new replacement screen. This big wide screen installs very well and took just a couple of hours (and could have easily been less). Instructions could be a little better, but not a big problem. Using bluetooth for audio works really well too and means no need to mess about with additional cables for the Aux.
Easy as making chips you peel the potatoes and put them in oil.

the glove compartment insert the wires and close the glove compartment back up, hardest thing was taking the screws out.

I bought the A4 interface because it didn't require any modifications to the built-in screen or much disassembly. The install was pretty simple, but shoving everything back in the dash was annoying. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it because Audi decided to leave barely any cable for the optical line.
I love the option to use the built-in Bluetooth connection my car has. The phone connects to the MMI for calls and sound, but outputs display on the interface. I was hoping this would work like that and it is by far the best feature in there and barely mentioned. No faffing about with AUX or audio call issues, the GALA function works and the screen shows my carplay. Just perfect! The only gripe I have is that there is no way to see the current volume on screen. If there was any way to keep that it would be even better.
MMI module is similar to other higher priced modules sold, however the installation instructions are severely lacking. Spent 8 hours troubleshoot poorly instructed wiring connections. Many fans have put together videos to make up for the poor instructions, which is what helped me get thru the install.
was very impressed with this little unit I also installed front and rear cameras. The installation is definitely for somebody that like to do mechanical work. Some of the wires are very tight to get to. take your time and you’ll be happy. Thank You So far so good I’ve had it installed a few days Watch the utube videos I elected to make extensions and my own harness for other wires that were extremely short but everything does fit inside the panel Make sure you set your screen resolution to BMW factory or you will get a bar in your graphics

My only complaint is losing the cursor and having to go left and right to navigate.

This is an excellent device to allow the addition of Car Play/Android auto to a car without it. Easy to install and works great.
Love it. If there was a note at the beginning of the instructions stating the decoder acts as a middle man between the radio and HMI the install would have went more smooth and if the website listed my vehicle it would have been helpful. Aside from that I love everything about it!
Just what I was looking for in my 2015 ford edge. A little intimidating to mess with the electronics inside the screen but if you follow the video it is really strait forward. Make sure you flip all of the right switches on the box to adapt to your car so you don’t have to take the car apart like I did. If sound quality is important to you use the setting to use cars original Bluetooth connection because the audio from this thing is less than mid.
I just installed the Road Top car play in the Land Rover Disco Sport 2016 with Harman System. I found a good how to video on YouTube and it’s been working well for a week now. I wasn’t sure about the dip switch settings but I think I found a setting that works. Thanks, it’s definitely an upgrade.
