For Mini R55 R56 R57 R58 R59 R60 R61 F54 F55

Installation was fairly straightforward. Using it out of the box with a new S24 Ultra on wireless Android Auto was flaky. Used WhatsApp to contact support who were excellent and sent me a software update. This has resolved the majority of connection issues, but I do experience UI lag and freezing from time to time and having to cycle power to "reboot". Bang-for-buck happy to have the functionality even with small annoyances.

I received the package in Munich germany on this Tuesday after ordering on Saturday !! That’s under 4 days including a weekend. Amazing !! It was a small well packed package that contains the box, all cables, well packed and 2 printed instructions. The manual was for BMW not for my Mini F56 but there is a boatload of YouTube videos describing the disassembly and installation so I was well prepared and got through it in less than an hour.

Everything works as expected, at first after pairing Bluetooth and Wi-Fi I couldn’t get the CarPlay interface to start, but as the manual set, tried turning Bluetooth on my iPhone off and on again and voilà everything was there.

The only regret is maybe that I didn’t go for the full unit replacement (available here as well but more expensive) and so I have to work with the I-drive controller instead of a touchscreen.

Anyway, navigation with Apple Maps or „here we go“ works like a charm, Siri is commanded by the „talking head“ button on the steering wheel and everything works really great so far. Happy customer, thx for the anniversary discount ! Very much appreciated.

Good price, solid product, the quality of the MMI box and cables are good and rapid delivery.
The installation manual is not design for Mini, but it is not difficult to find installation guide from youtube and installed it myself in around 2 hours.
System control response time is decent. Default setting of sound may not as good as factory system, fine tuning EQ helps a lot, gives me reasonable sound quality.
Very satisfying have Android auto works in a Mini F5x.

Love the product quick to connect has a odd electrical interference noise with lights on didn’t have it before but it’s not a big deal with the radio turned up
