12.3 Inch touch screen

This screen is excellent maybe a bit big, but this us the trend. Works well, clear and fast.
The down side is the wrong bracket was sent, should have been a right hand drive bracket.
Road top quickly send one, but now I have to pay an excessive amount for the courier, just short of the same amount as the entire system.

Great upgrade

I was switching from a Road Top MMI box to a Linux touch screen unit on my F30 328i sedan. The install was a bit involved as I wanted to remove the old MMI box and associated cabling so it took some time. The Linux touch screen is terrific. Super responsive and works well with Android Auto and Apple Car play. The individual door ajar visual warnings are a nice touch. The stock idrive, steering wheel controls and reverse camera also work well. My only gripe is that the screen is reflective in bright sunshine and it does take time fine tuning of the Audio equalizer. Also, the instruction manual indicated that I did not need to short the two conduits for CIC HI equipped cars (which is what I have). However, you do need to connect them, else the audio is hollow sounding. So before you screw things back together, do a test run. All in all a great upgrade and livens up the interior of the car.
