The box works very well with wireless and wired connections for both iOS and Android. Easy to set up for phones, no lag and very clever how you can flip between the car's system and the new system. The NTG4.5 system is looking very dated but this has thoroughly modernised the car. Great to have Waze, Spotify and phone calls fully integrated and easy to control. Fitting isn't easy but YouTube is your friend. The kit is great and the instructions very clear but the car's dashboard is fairly complex and very tight. The hardest bits were to get the additional wiring harness behind the head unit (very, very tight) and routing the AUX-in wiring, which requires the centre console to come out if you want to route the wire neatly. I put the box and aerial behind the screen and there was plenty of room I'd say it took 8hrs in total, partly because I got things wrong and hand to take stuff out again. Could probably do it in a third of the time if I did it again. But... the most important thing is that it works VERY WELL, looks very neat and is fully integrated. A very clever box and very happy I took the plunge. Absolutely great customer service from RoadTop too. Thank you!

This is actually the 2nd product I ordered from RoadTop. The customer support is amazing and the box is awesome. Best choice if you want CarPlay in your car!

Installing was tough for the harness but totally worth it

The CarPlay option added by the RoadTop product has really extended the lifetime of my 2014-year C-Class Stationwagon. The Mercedes original car navigation has mo more Japan map data update so that I was considering to buy a new car just because of the reason. However, I can now use the CarPlay even wirelessly and continue to enjoying the driving.

Ru kidding ?.I tried becker pilot,carplay abc,2more any this road top cartridge is the Bomb.works for ntg.5 just like it says it does.im shocked really..outstanding my wife is even working it in her cla250 2014..stereo shope 1k change head unit blow up electrical? Bad idea.this 90 bugs it works .great job Road Top.i can't believe plug and play.outstanding.
