Everything went smoothly with the installation process, and it took less time than expected. The documentation explained everything very well.

- Hardware installation: Went smoothly without issues.
- Software/Smartphone setup: Very straightforward and user-friendly.

The only suggestion I have is that the "How-To" guide for using the system could be a bit more detailed. I will reach out to support with a few specific questions.

The roadtop unit turns the OEM BMW screen to android auto and it is flawless.

I have installed the unit but took me a couple days as I strugled to find place for it behind radio. In the end I placed it under the glove box in a compartment where access is relatively easy and where there’s a second set of fuses that can be accessed so it’s designed by BMW to be relatively easy to access. This contradicts many instructions on the web that say to remove the glove box to access a compartment in the left behind the glove box. This is not needed at all and it’s super time consuming. Anyway, it’s working fine except that the screen is not responding to touch in car play (it continues to respond to touch in the bmw nav system). I wrote roadtop support to ask for help. I am using the phone bluetooth audio that works like a charm. One concern I had is whether when parking the system would go automatically to the parking mode from CarPlay and it hurrah it does!

I am very satisfied with this product. The installation was straightforward and took less time than I expected. Everything worked as described, and the integration with the original BMW system is excellent.
The display is responsive, CarPlay works smoothly, and the overall user experience is a huge improvement over the OEM system. I use it every day, especially for Waze, and it has made driving much more enjoyable.
Highly recommended if you want to modernize your BMW without replacing the original system. Great value for the money!

Only recently fitted, but so far really pleased with everything. Fitting was fairly straight forward with the help of the fitting instructions and YouTube videos which were very helpful. Performance / usability need more time to evaluate properly but immediate reaction is very good. All working as hoped and looking forward to enjoying for years to come.
