Works fine, it's an awesome upgrade

The installation was a breeze and there are plenty of videos online to help during the process. So far I've been using wireless Apple Carplay for a couple months and I think it's been a great upgrade to my 2016 BMW F20. I've never had any glitches while using it, but before I start any drive, I have to make sure the bluetooth is connected to the car because I might not have audio at first. Music and phone calls sound the same as before, since I connect directly to the car's BT. No external microphone installation was needed. Customer support was also great and future software updates seem pretty easy. Overall, I really like it

Product is fantastic! Works completely seamlessly, is very easy to use, and is super high quality! I would love to give it 5 stars but the only reasons I feel I can’t was due to the instructions. The install itself was relatively easy but the installation instructions were not very straightforward and often skipped over things and left me with questions about things it didn’t go into enough depth about. Overall, amazing product, but would be nice for some updated written or detailed/in-depth video instructions!

Just follow the instructions and is a plug and play situation. Very happy of the overall result including a backup camera connected.

Easy install, works flawlessly.

Nothing more to say than you just can't go wrong with this Android Auto add-on kit. Super easy install, everything fits (keep the wires tidy!) and works seamlessly with the Mini interface. Highly recommend this unit. Oh - and don't pay more by buying this exact same unit hawked at other BMW-focused e-tailers. This is the only one you want/need.
