Fit is very good and I appreciate the trim piece included to cover the previous rubber pads. That said, there are a few issues: my 2008 C300 had no stereo options added, so no fiber optic (MOST) cable was present, however, in using the AUX input, the three aux wires had to be moved from the OEM quad lock to the RoadTop one. There was no mention of this in the instructions and most areas of the internet. Once done, all good.

Also, in my case the HVAC panel required some modifications to include cutting off the upper tab since it was too wide, and the outer tabs on the RoadTop unit had to be cut off, as well. Once that was done, all parts fit back together fine and no rattles.

Final issue, the display came with a line of LEDs out. It’s not terrible, but disappointing.

Did it solve my needs? Eventually, yes, but it should have been a smoother experience.

This is my fourth Roadtop device as I have fitted them for family. The large screen Linux is, for me better than the Android version I had earlier as IOS seems to integrate better. Good product and pleased with it. Always a bit difficult with wiring the W205 but got there in the end.

Working perfect until now

Excellent bit of kit fitted to GLC 2018 straight forward install, setup takes a bit of time to get it right but plenty of videos showing different ways. Once done everything works perfectly.

It fits well on my g class and working good , there is small issues i have encountered using carplay (music sound can disappear after making a call, accepting a call via wheels button rejects phone call) but i think it can be solved , totally worth its money!
