Works as Expected

Make sure you pay close attention to the cable installation as I had installed one of the ribbon cables upside down and touch screen input was not working. The support team was helpful and diagnosed the issue after a few messages. I am using the original car Bluetooth for audio and it works well. I had to install the Roadtop microphone as the original car microphone is not integrated with Roadtop. When turning on the vehicle, the Bluetooth audio starts and stops, and usually starts again on its own, or I may need to switch to the Roadtop interface to get the audio to continue playing. Other than this slight delay, everything works surprisingly well.

Impressed

I've only had this installed for a couple of days, but so far it works extremely well. The one improvement I ask for CarPlay to the show climate controls as they're being changed, this is a normal function for the car when in other screens.

Great product

Very happy with purchase. Installation was very easy, taking the trim off the car to access where I needed to get to was not too difficult just time consuming. It was plug and play no wire cutting or any other mods, retains original screen and Cue system and now I have Android Auto on my Cadillac Cue system. This was cheaper than replacing the HMI unit that would require getting it done at dealer because it needs your VIN number programmed and aftermarket HMI 2.5 with VIN programmed are 900 bucks then you have to take all the same trim apart and replace it yourself anyway. I would highly recommend this product as the best way to upgrade your system in the Cadillac SRX over pricy "Tesla" radios or HMI upgrade. Don't hesitate this is the way to go.
