This turned out to be an excellent product and has integrated seamlessly with the existing CIC system in my BMW X5. Installation instructions were easy to follow and build quality of the wire harnesses, mounting hardware and TFT screen, exceeded expectations.

Also the GUI interface, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity with the associated Apple Carplay device, all functioned as expected, without error.

Prior to this and before I found Road Top, I installed a competitor's product on my 5 Series BMW which cost almost 5 times that of this unit and without some of the functionality, and I truly regret not ordering a Road Top device for that car as well.

Thanks Road Top for the support and a great product thus far. I've now purchased another unit for installation in my friend's BMW F30 also.

The new ultra-thin” 12.3” display fits my 2013 BMW F30 perfectly. It’s not “too big” IMO if you are worried. Love the simplicity and SPEED of the Linux OS. You can also change the boot logo to make it look OEM with a picture from the internet. No loss of functionality with my OEM connected drive system and I can switch back and forth with the click of a button. Also love that the scroll wheel in my car and on my steering wheel both work and the sound and microphone are connected through Bluetooth so use my cars original system with no change. Recommend Linux over Android if you just want CarPlay as it’s way faster and half the price. If you want to download Android apps then go for that option, but ask yourself if you are really going to use those apps in the car. Overall an excellent product, fast shipment, responsive customer service on WhatsApp. Highly recommend.

The HD screen arrived very quickly through tracked courier. The screen fits perfectly and installation was easy provided you follow the instructions carefully and plug in everything securely.

Would highly recommend this product to all! Overall very satisfied!
