Recently installed this on my Q3 8U (2014) with Audi MMI RMC. Had a little struggle witht he cable length and fitting but all else, the device is working perfectly fine and is not negatively intervening with the car battery or multimedia.

Package delivered from Germany in 3 working days in the Netherlands. Installation went smooth, watched various YouTube tutorials, ready within 2 hours, going at my own pace. If you have AUX port (jackplug), you don’t have the AMI port. Unit works like a charm with car buttons. Only car radio cannot be played when navigating with voice assistant. So need a radio or podcast app on phone. I kept the original screen, which is good enough for me, primarily navigation, but not the quality that we are used to nowadays. I ordered the “Car Radio Audio Stereo Removal and Installation Professional kit Including 12 Distinctive Tools” but only received the 2 metal things to get the radio out. So not as advertised… 20 dollar is little steep amount for just 2 metal things.

Das Ergebnis ist perfekt! Sehr gute Qualität, riesiger Bildschirm, alles funktioniert. Eigentlich ist es auch Recht simpel einzubauen, aber macht doch bitte mal ein paar Videos. Es war ein wenig Bastelei mit Versuch und Irrtum, insbesondere der Quadlock geht nur sehr umständlich rein. Android Auto und OEM System laufen parallel, umschalten einfach per Tasten auf der Mittelkonsole (OEM) oder Bildschirmberührung (Android Auto). Klare Empfehlung!
