Installation was generally easy, and required no permanent modification. The only challenge was correctly locating the large connector to allow everything to go together.
Sound wise, this system greatly beatified from adding a pre-amp between the head unit and the AUX input of the car.

BMW E60 CarPlay

Just installed the CarPlay unit this week. My 20 year old car now has the same features as a 2025 BMW, but in a BMW that has 3 pedals. My iPhone connects as soon as I get in and the large screen is a huge improvement over the original screen. And all the stock features are easily accessible on the new screen. Great product if you want to modernize your older ride!

Pantalla de gran calidad, tenía miedo de que se viera muy grande en el coche pero no es así, es el tamaño perfecto. Muy rápida y no tiene nada de retardo, tampoco se queda nunca colgada y el arranque desde apagada es muy rápido también. Por el precio que tiene no se puede pedir nada más
