I did the installation of an 8'9" Touch in an Audi A5 with MM3G+.
Amazing how smoothly the software works, complete integration of all car features. Of course due to CAN Bus, but anyway, well done.
The installation was easier than I thought before, some of the cables have been obsolete for MM3G+ units which saved installation time. I needed 2h for complete setup.
I wasn't aware of this CarPlay solution, just found it by random. I recommend a stronger marketing as this product is worth any cent.

Exactly what I wanted

Everything installed well, the video was thorough besides not showing the harness routing. I am happy with the options, was able to get the park switch to override the carplay like reverse and I haven't found any settings or limitations that detract from the experience.

Der Einbau hat mich etwa 5 Stunden gekostet und ist wirklich nicht einfach. Dafür müssen mehrere Teile ausgebaut werden: die Blenden, die Lüftung, das Klimabedienteil und die Multimediaeinheit.

Die Verarbeitung des Displays und des Covers ist hervorragend. Der Zugriff auf das OEM-System bleibt weiterhin möglich. Sowohl das MMI-Drehrad als auch die Lenkradtasten funktionieren wie gewohnt.

Apple CarPlay startet unglaublich schnell. Auch Klimaeinstellungen sowie das Öffnen und Schließen der Türen werden direkt im Display angezeigt.

Die Audioübertragung funktioniert über Bluetooth selbst bei aktivem CarPlay problemlos und ohne hörbaren Qualitätsverlust über die BOSE-Soundanlage.

Ein weiteres Highlight: Das Bootlogo des Touchscreens lässt sich individuell anpassen.

Fazit: Trotz des aufwendigen Einbaus bin ich absolut begeistert. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Good product, but incomplete installation guide

I installed this RoadTop Android Auto screen in my 2010 Audi S5. The product itself is fine and works exactly as expected once it is set up.

However, the installation instructions could be much better. The provided manual and videos leave out a significant part of the process, which felt a bit misleading. It makes the installation seem easier than it actually is, so be prepared to figure out some parts on your own.

I also asked a few questions before buying. Customer service did reply, but their answers were not very clear.

Overall, it is a decent product, just keep in mind that the installation requires more effort than the instructions suggest.
